RAGESTORM? It must be some kind of Power Metal band or something like that. At least that's what I thought when I saw this CD, before even having the chance to listen to it at least once. It seems that I was wrong, but to tell you the truth I would prefer to listen to some Power Metal than what I faced in Someone Hears?.

The band hails from Italy (what the hell?) and has been active since 2004. RAGESTORM is composed of five youngsters who felt the wind of change and decided to play a totally groundbreaking and experimental music genre that is called... Metalcore!

Yeah, you got it right! What we have here is one more melodic Death Metal/Metalcore band with brutal/clean melodic vocals, shredding guitars and the classic ingredients this music has. What made a really good impression for me is the production which is kind of great for a demo release. Hmmm, what else? Oh, the drumming is pretty simple for this music, I guess...

That's it. You know I don't spend more time on such a release, except if it is one of the good Metalcore releases, which by the way are so few that show me that the Metalcore trend is already taking the downhill.
