Flight Of A Dying Sun

I kind of miss the ferocity and that entire monstrosity that's hidden in the Metalcore genre, I really do. PURIFIED IN BLOOD deliver that to me once again and do their best to stay away from the repeated formula in the recent releases in the genre. It's like their only purpose on this album is to refresh your memory and remind you how insane the genre can be, and "Flight of a Dying Sun" is offering to prove my point. Now step back, I have some explaining to do.
The album is mad, insane, and is ejaculating adrenaline right at the listener's face. The second track "Storm of Blood" is intense enough to destroy horizons, the pacing is amazing, and the song is straight forward amazing. "Iron Hands", on the other hand has a different form of riffing, and is really slow, conveying some very minor Stoner Metal influences.
Yeah, the rest of the album is fucking massive. You have some amazing guitar work in "Escape to Solace", very melodic and well constructed, and the album titled ending track is probably the most unique track in terms of pacing and musicianship by the band.
Need I say more? The album is a great refreshing release in the Metalcore market, and I all I know is that I dig this to the maximum. Be ready for some eargasms, because you will be all over the place when you listen to this release.
