Unrelenting

The US Grindcore legends PHOBIA return with their third release for 2010 proving that there is no rest for the wicked. Even though I thought this was a full-length album at first, I realized (judging by what the band says in its Myspace page) that this is nothing more than a brand new EP. So, with 17 songs and an approximate duration of 14 minutes, the California based quartet is ready to roll!
"T.R.O.G." works as an intro for this relentless EP, which grabs your balls and makes you fall on your knees with merciless blasts, razor sharp riffs and sick screams. Damn there is not even a second for the listener to relax. With their classic anarcho Grind attitude and their society/politics related lyrics, PHOBIA unleash their own attack full of non compromising Grindcore music that leaves no doubt these guys belong to the Grind pantheon next to bands like NAPALM DEATH, TERRORIZER etc.
I guess that if you want some classic old school Grindcore from a band that knows how to play it, then "Unrelenting" is exactly what you're looking for. Hmmm, 2010 has been a really nice and productive year for extreme releases, hasn't it?
