No More Humanity

PHENIUM is a modern Death / Thrash Metal from Rome, Italy. The band was formed in 2006 and released "Demo" in 2008, EP "Incubhate" in 2009, full-length album "Fake you All" in 2010 and recently their brand new EP "No More Humanity" on their local Revalve Records.
"Tears and Scars" shows immense brutality but Arianna Bonaridi's melodic singing on the chorus adding a fine extra layer to the mix. "All Lies Shall Fall" conveys that much tighter duet into its fine form, releasing also an excellent guitar solo. I found similar conclusions on "Rabid Dogs". This is a very good track with stronger riffs in the vein of Hard Rock and Heavy Metal influences letting off a catchy tune in overall. Gaining altitude over Death Metal with several Punk and Rapcore slices al'a BIOHAZARD arrives "Painless", a chunk of meat in the right zone. "Throne of Chaos" established impressive heaviness, headbanging mania with fierce guitar work.
PHENIUM stepped up their work on this EP, shaping a figure of Thrash and Death Metal with a modern viewpoint that is solid. Respectfully, I think that Michele Finelli has a little work on the vocals ahead of him, but he is on the right path. Take a peak on these guys and you will find red.
