PATHOLOGY is a Death Metal band from San Diego, California, they put out their 1st album in 2006 and with some lineup changes between then and now, "Reborn To Kill" is the tenth album.

"Hieroglyphs On Cement Walls", as expected with this opening song, PATHOLOGY came out crushing it, it is fast and heavy, the vocals are to destroy your vocal cords with a chunk of deep growl. "Forced Regression", as with the opener, the band seem to like their songs short with a perfectly timed race to the end of the song, well hold up, there is a moment where they slow it down briefly, only to pick the pace up again. "The Beast Within" is a totally aggressive melt your face type song, with some great riffs, the drums are crushing but laid smoothly with the havoc, the bass protrudes from beneath and then you have your Death Metal vocals over lapping all of the instruments. "Frothing At The Mouth" is another beast of a song with snarling, growling vocals at its finest, I had to take a moment to take a peek at all the songs on this album and you're lucky to get a three minute song. "Empathy Ends" is a somewhat cool one minute and forty-eight second instrumental.

"Dragged In A Cave" has drums that are blazing and the guitar work is bent on destruction and the bass is just as impressive, the vocals are brutal. "Pit Of Bones" is a brutal attack on you, me and whatever may come before it, It spares no one, from the guitars, from the bass, to the drums and vocals, It's a beast built to devour. "Crematorium Flames" has nothing short of an astonishing guitar performance in this song, there is speed, there is frills and even a laid back groove period incorporated, for real, Daniel Richardson is a beast to be reckoned with.

"Stone Axe Dismemberment" seems to be a little faster if that is believable, still loving the different embodiment of guitar styles shown anywhere throughout this album. "Predation" has dragged out snarling vocal, and they are still showing the aggressiveness of the beast known as PATHOLOGY. "Celestial Condemnation" is the last song on this brutal attack of chaos on your soul and with that being said, they changed up the pace but it is still an all on its own, just somewhat of a mellowed attack but by all means, it is still a Death Metal Song.

If you are looking for a Death Metal album with many different styles incorporated, you have found your album in " Reborn To Kill".
