What can I say that hasn't already been stated about this legendary band? The one and only PANTERA have reissued their 1994 classic album "Far Beyond Driven". Additionally this release comes with a bonus disc packed with PANTERA pungency. Their complete 1994 Monsters of Rock Festival appearance, which covers many of the greatest songs from the previous two albums "Cowboys From Hell" and "Vulgar Display of Power".

The album has been sonically enhanced which gives every track a boost in crispness and clarity. Every note preeminent late guitarist Dimebag Darrel played sounds that much more prodigious, each beat Vinnie Paul blasted heavier, each snarl from frontman Phil Anselmo increasingly pronounced and every rhythm from bassist Rex Brown groovier.

Reminiscent of when I first picked up this album a decade ago listening to "I'm Broken" and "5 Minutes Alone", some of the heaviest songs I had heard at the time. "Far Beyond Driven" is one of the most influential Metal albums to date, where the guys really defined their hostile grooves. This is Heavy Metal at its peak. "Good Friends and a Bottle of Pills" with its darkened undertones and foreboding vocals, and you have to be amused at how high Phil sounds.

Well worth a listen with its improved sound quality and bonus live disc of an exceptional performance that made history, definitely a great combination of songs, "Walk" and "Cowboys From Hell" are personal favourite and will keep the listener entertained for hours.
