Ozzy Osbourne - Goin' Crazy In Argentina album cover

(The disc stops and plays, then stops and plays again until it stops to play again...all the time. I hope it's just a problem for this specific copy and not for the entire pressing...)
The Madman is goin' crazy in Argentina this time; the crowd goes nuts, too. Filmed during Ozzy's 2008 tour in support of Black Rain (2007), the Goin' Crazy In Argentina DVD (River Plate stadium, Buenos Aires) is - I think - the most up-to-date authorized release for one of Metal music's more renowned icons. Still, I have serious doubts what status of popularity the original BLACK SABBATH singer would possess nowadays without - let's say - the The Osbournes TV show plus countless other promotional tricks, since truth is...
...Ozzy can barely sing and stand up to his legend, speaking in strictly musical terms. On the other hand, since he can still clap his hands and show his ass and jump up and down and spread buckets of water all over the front rows, what else would the average Metal fan want to fill his mind/soul with, watching onstage the Prince Of Darkness? The music performed is in high level - the crew speaks for themselves - and the setlist is chopped anyway; we'd like to have 666 Ozzy/SABBATH songs played at once in order to be satisfied, wouldn't we? I Don't Wanna Stop, Not Going Away and Here For You are what his latest album offers to the Argentinean hordes. The remaining setlist has some bright moments in Suicide Solution and I Don't Wanna Change The World (personal peaks).
As in every Showtime Movies release up to now, what the buyer gets is only a nice filmed gig movie; no extras, no booklet, no anything else. It's another DVD from the man once praised for his deal with the devil? Yes. Gotta have it anyway? No. Worth checkin' it? Probably yes. Already an Ozzy fanatic? Already an owner.

P.S.: The Madman's intro words on Mr. Crowley is a total let-down.. Still, smiling like a child while trying to keep a pace is what saves the day...in general.
