Well, the first impression of the album, even beforse I gave it the first listen was, "Cool artwork!", because it really is a beauty, looks and feels very old school. So, here we have a band from Varese, Italy, that say that they play rock and roll, and boy do they deliver!!
The first track, the title track, "Accelerate" starts with samples of motorcycles doing, guess what, accelerating, so after the cheesy samples, we enter an awesome, too fun even rock & roll track, that reminds me a lot of MOTORHEAD, everything from the guitars, through the drums, and even the vocals, that is how Lemmy should sound if he ever growled!
The rest of the album continues along the same line, the second track, "As If There Were No Tomorrow" sounds as if it's a long lost MOTORHEAD song... It's that damn good... Old fashioned rock & roll with updated sound, awesome piece...
Song after song, it only gets better, the third masterpiece "Dirt" is along the same lines, rock & roll, really tight, really good guitar work, technically sound guitar solos, pure rock & roll fun! The rest of the songs are along said lines, until we get to the 9th song, "No Law", which sounds like a tribute to JUDAS PRIEST. It's as if Glenn and KK from JUDAS PRIEST are playing on this song, including the lead guitars.
Overall, not much to say here. The official refresher of the year. Pure fun of rock & roll in 2014? How did that happen? Go buy the album and do yourself a favor!!!
