German old school Blackened Thrashers, OUTRAGE have been in existence since 1983 - They took some time off between 1987 and 2004, but have put out no less than 7 studio albums upon returning. I'm definitely impressed by how much work that these guys have put into getting new material to the masses, but have to be honest and say that is also where being impressed ends.

They list bands such as HELLHAMMER, CELTIC FROST, VENOM and SODOM as influences, but the problem I'm having is it is now 32 years later and this music would have sounded great back then, but today it doesn't. I admit to being quite jaded these days and neither the musical ability of the players or their lyrical themes are anything I can relate to. I truly gave it a couple tries and just didn't find many redeeming qualities about "We The Dead". I'm sure these guys rock any festival they get booked to play at, but my musical taste in 2014 and their music are on two very different wavelengths! If only I had access to tracks like "Kill Snow White" back when I was in high School, my opinion and rating of this disc would be much higher.
