OMISION are based Tijuana, Mexico and they are presenting us American Death / Thrash Metal. They have released three demos and this release is their first full length. Well, this aggressive type of Metal with influences of SLAYER, MORBID ANGEL and INCANTATION. Their guitar riffs remind me of POSSESSED's style, therefore here we have to deal with an old school extreme Metal.

Tracks like "In The Shadow Of The Cross", "Your God", "Assault In The Vatican", "Pray", "No Idols" and "The Downfall" are very good compositions. The growls of Perez are similar to Peter (Piotr Wiwczarek) of VADER and the guitars are characterized as face ripping manifestations. On "Pray" I have to comment on the early SEPULTURA feeling that I noticed, totally brutal. Also, the dark atmosphere of "In The Shadow Of The Cross" will probably set your wits towards INCANTATION's works. OMISION released a good album and I look forward for their next step.
