Metal maniacs, rejoice! I am proud to present to you: OKILLY DOKILLY; signed independently, hailing from the United States of America - performing Metalcore/Heavy Metal/Rock, on their 2nd album entitled: "Howdilly Twodilly" (released March 29th, 2019).

Since formation in 2015; the band in question have 2 albums in their discography so far, I am introduced to their 2nd album entitled: "Howdilly Twodilly". 11 tracks ranging at around 36:46; the Ned Flanders parody outfit arranges an intricately designed formula of heavy-hitting, yet comedic Metalcore/Heavy Metal/Rock amalgamations. Ever wondered what it would be like if the iconic The Simpsons character would tarnish his belief for God and enter the world of Metal? OKILLY DOKILLY would be the closest thing you would get towards that image. "Reneducation" begins the record; conveying amplified adrenaline, boistrously bouncy energy and hardened hymns of crunchy creativity. Fuelled with flamboyant finesse; conceptual deadliness and a boost of catchy grooves, flaired with progressively technical vehemence.

Consisting of a 5-piece Ned Flanders outfit (literally); Head Ned on vocals showcases a consistently concrete development of guttural growls, high-pitched pipes that scream with vengeful versatility - utilizing uniquely unprecedented variety. "When The Comet Gets Here" demonstrates a blistering barrage of frenzied complexity from dextrous guitarist: Shred Ned; efficiently diversifying dynamic elements, implementing infectious dosages of fluidly polished songwriting persistency, rambunctiously injecting inventive yet organic substance with every melody. "Murder House" experiments with solid remedies of synth manifestations from Zed Ned; crafting inventively immerse, and efficacious effects in which wonder with prodegious pursuits of quintessential prestigiousness.

"I Can't, It's A Geo" constructs distinctively distinguished characteristics; contrasting gnarly chugs, chaotic galloping and atmospheric aesthetics - assorted into battering blends of adroitly composed harmonies. Hammering drummer Dread Ned pounds profusely with robust slams; gritty detail, and striking rhythms that pummel with thunderous perseverance. "Bulletproof Glass" comprises of meaty soundscapes; mid-tempo thumps, stomping speed & sonically seamless stabilty. Audible bassist Bed Ned frolics frantically, forging grungy hooks in which captivate engaging kicks of jumpy haste. "Claw My Eyes Out" rapidly swifts with nimble roars to slower yet somewhat anthemic agility, embellishing on impressive culminations of brutality & mesmerizing moods of euphonic elegance.

"Purple Drapes" establishes additional polyphonics; promptly providing jocular subjugations, merging meticulous patterns that flow into humourous lyricism while riveting with savagely primitive riffs and solos that revolves through mandatory musicianship. "Here's The Noose" pumps with more subtly upbeat noise; a borderline foundation of "Nedal" Metal (their sub-genre title) and a clean mixture of formulaic instrumentation, impressively fused with splendid swerve. "Murdillyurdeler" exhibits more monstrous leads; lacerating ripping shreds; sopshisticated transistions and an old-school shine, wildly rushing into a stampeding rampage like a ten ton behemoth onslaughting the land. "Wrong God" memorably measures massively modernized techniques; originally ambiguous, and attributed with captivating effectiveness.

Overall concluding "Howdilly Twodilly" with the finale track: "Fokilly Dokilly"; I enjoyed an artistic fabrication of entertaining "Nedal Metal", if you can get past the gimmick - OKILLY DOKILLY are for sure a fun ride, and they certainly outdone themselves here - good stuff.<
