If I had to name two of my favorite areas for Black Metal, I'd say Finland for their terrific Black Metal Circles and France for their lovely offerings in experimentation in the genre. NAHAR is a duo coming forth with "The Strange Inconvenience", a release on Avantgarde music, where some of the top albums were released by bands such as KATATONIA and KEEP OF KALESSIN were released. So, what does this album offer?

A clear amalgamation between the Rawness of Black Metal and pure, pure utmost experimentation is what you'll find on this release. NAHAR even tackled some ambience with tracks like "D.M.T." and some bland rawness for kvlt listeners in songs like "Pessimist". Even the bass guitar on this release stands out alongside the crispy Black Metal guitars and sounds very audible from the near-perfect Black Metal mastering.

"The Strange Inconvenience" again, as I always say in most underground releases, is a must have. I'd say you're better off enjoying this than another mainstream release that will most probably sound the same, rather than experiencing the beauty of Black Metal as it always was, underground and original.
