Moshnix - Black Monk album cover

It's not so common to see a Thrash Metal band on Sweden arise when one is used to the Bay Area. I confess that initially me the question arises whether what was to come was more of the same or if there was a difference in a band that does not have as much representation style in your country.

Good thing I was completely mistaken, my first search for information of the band takes on Youtube, and video that appears as the first option is the appointment of an EP "Moshnix". There is always that hopelessness when it comes to an independent band, typically in their early work has few resources to launch his music. But I was really impressed how it was simple and complete work on "Black Monk" that I am left doubt that is a composition with details and significant nuances. Despite the look of the band mix between the old school and something more current, vocalist Pavel can print impressive tones that blend of aggressive and melodic without sounding forced.

Finally squeeze the play to begin listening to the EP of the Swedes, the disc starts with "Fresh Metal" which has riffs well accompanied melody of a fast and aggressive drums, in the first instance could say quietly be listening to some music "B side" Metallica, the very precise instrument and shows its strength within the first seconds.

Next we have "Black Monk" that speaks for itself, as others have said the weight and quality of the music from the beginning of this review.

In the third track music we have melodious riffs give introduction to "Into The Wild", the composition of this song translates much of the juvenile offender and spirit of the band. Truly showing the message that came to give lovers of good Thrash Metal.

In "Kill Her Kick" have a song with more well-constructed solos and a traditional heavy metal line that blends and fits in quite attuned to the weight and fast battery that stays with low chord marking and giving harmony to the whole thing from music.

Finishing the debut of this group of Sweden, with "Pathetic Judgers" comes an interesting mix of chords we see a good crossover line, mixing with all components of weight and marked the band. Bringing a different tune to finalize the disc with a very interesting ground.

Despite being the first work of the band you can view all the potential and talent of these guys paying off having known their work. Just like to have seen more progress in pace with more complex compositions and more challenging with new elements, as we had this song that ends the disc. But overall, I recommend watching the Moshnix.
