Originating back to 2015 as a solo project for Jake. Chris joined in August 2017. The 2-song demo was recorded by Chris and Jake in September. Engineered by Jake and Chris and Mixed / Mastered in October by Chris. Tyler joined in November and the live show line up was cemented. M.A. played their first show at Drunken Unicorn on 5/11/18. They recorded Inability To Cope (EP), which will be released on Boris Records in October 2018

"Alcoholic Polyneuropathic Freaks in Hell" has a sample of spoken word, not sure who it is, but it's a bit crazy. After this is finished the instrumentals kick in, slowly. It's almost like they are warming up on stage drums kick the beat up and is soon joined by guitars and a screeching vocalist. The pace isn't bad at all, the melodies are a little off, but it has that underground Blackened Thrash feels, and its all easy to understand, so no arguments here. The melodies flow in the middle section really well and make the song so much better. The pace and tempo have increased and its almost like they needed the first third of the song to warm and tune up, the second third is a lot better. Vocals are short bursting, sharp and suit the song really well, it works really well for the opening track. The ending third is strong and takes all the positives heard so far, blends together to create a top draw Blackened Thrash song.

"Retirement From Life" slows things down, right down to start off. More like Atmospheric Black or Funeral Doom pace. Vocals are morbid and dark, which suits the pace overall. The pace does pick up, slightly. It's a far cry from the previous song to start off. On the 90-second(ish) mark is does kick off and get heavier, which is a good change in gear, the Thrash element returns and thickens the brew. The pace goes up and the balance remains fairly well structured, not a bad song, just a weird mix-up.

"Blacklisted" starts off with a strangely distorted sounding melody to bring us into the song itself. It soon ends, which because it is not developed, makes the into a little pointless, but there is no real difference between doing that and having a spoken word sample. The tempo has flown into the higher gears, joined by the aggression re-hitting the top levels we have heard. Melody-wise, it is actually very well-balanced and harmonies are quite beautiful. It plays out really well and if you have this kind of sound tripled in amounts of songs it would make a great album.

A solid little EP just to get us excited about the potential of what this band could knock out in the future, some great sons with s few different styles. Throw this material and drive into a new album , they will go really far A lot of potential, I will keep an eye out for more material from these guys
