Minushuman - Bloodthrone album cover

Before beginning my review, there is something that I would like to say first: like it or not, you can't say this is a bad album, no matter what your favorite genre is. This recording, even if it's only curiosity, will get attached to your music library anyway. With that "deep" thought expressed by me, your slave, here comes the only thing I've learned to do very well in my life: to criticize.

France has always managed to surprise me when the subject comes in music, bands like PESTE NOIRE, PENSÉES NOCTURNES, or even HEAVENLY, have always caught my attention in two things especially: good productions merely by the ability to make records where each and every instrument used is easy to hear. MINUSHUMAN have made a great effort with this record, you can hear that these guys put hard work, hours of tenacity with real commitment that have been expressed in 10 tracks that any Metal fan would enjoy without knowing the band. Of course after a few minutes, you'll want to know more and that's for sure.

Catchy rhythms, good vocals, heavy riffs, very good percussion, something that still made me believe that there's a lot of potential in this world, only that MINUSHUMAN haven't had the suitable promotion they deserve. Therefore I advise Season Of Mist Records totake these guys even higher. They will make you earn tons money, more respect and reputation of course and gratitude from fans like me, who are still eager for something more.

For the newer fans this will be a good record to start with. For the hardcore fans, this might not be aggressive enough for you, yet still enjoyable. Let me make something clear: no matter whom the fuck you are, this is something worth listening because bands like this one are hard to find... trust me.
