Mindwork - Eterea (Reissue) album cover

"Eterea" is the second album of Czech Progressive Death Metal band MINDWORK. It takes off where the "Into the Swirl" left. Jazzy interludes, smooth passing from aggressive and fast to almost ambient soft parts... Guys are proving once again, that they are masters of their instruments. One thing that`s different on "Eterea" is addition of clean vocals to harsh vocals we get to hear on previous release, giving the created atmosphere a scene of duality. I`ll keep hoping that they`ll remember to forget the harsh vocals on next release, or just keep it simple and instrumental.

"Eterea" is multi layered, and technically perfect album. It can`t be easily explained in few words, it needs to be felt. Although on first listen it seems just like a pile of different genres mixed together just for the heck of it, after a couple of listening session you`ll find the true beat of this release. And once again I must put a spot on instrumental. "Eterea Collapse" is the proof of what these guys can do. Gently blending warm Jazz and brutal Metal.

Divebomb Records brings the reissue of this art piece. Though it won`t fit to everyone, I think that many of you would be able to find a piece of "Eterea" to call your own.
