Into The Void

Look out because MERCURY FALLING are here and they brought everything with all their power "Into The Void".
"Days of Redemption", the first track, is amazingly awesome. A great intro to the follow tracks. "In Dark Waters", the fifth track, there's an actual visible feeling that MERCURY FALLING are pulling me to go with them into their fears and this is exactly what I look for in a band, rather it is a Gothic Metal, Heavy Metal an so on...
Instrumentally, the credit goes to both Daniel Galmarini (Keyboards) and Tobias Galmarini (Guitars) because the décor to the story line is unbelievable and amazing and I can basically go with the compliments all day but I will say this: The combination between guitar and keyboards, especially in a Heavy Metal genre is valuable and I think that MERCURY FALLING have created their own level, and a high one as well! (And this is without saying a word about the unique guitar solos). Again, I love the fact that Maicel Panitz (Drums) use broken tempos in the eighth track "Wash Away My Sins" and use double pedals during the album. Michael Pabst (Vocals) has an incredible voice. I call it "The Triple Threat": He has the awesome vocal range, the amazing reliability and authenticity and a great roughness. (Sometimes he sounds very similar to Joakim Brodén (SABATON).
The concept: "There's a stranger in us all" says MERCURY FALLING and this is so right especially in the void when everything is about the human fear to lose itself in the void but maybe the idea was that even the sad and painful truth can be found "Into The Void"? I leave this for you, the readers, the listeners, the fans, and those aren't afraid to step into the unknown...
