Ready To Kill
Maze Of Terror

This is the first full-length album by the young band from Peru. 2016 has seen so many great Thrash Metal albums and some bands have been resurrected after hardship or really bad music decisions! 2016 has been a defining year in the genre and this band delivers in a big way. It's not the most original album of the young but it's still a pretty good album to headbang on your way home after a bad day at work!
The first song is ''Rotting Force''. This reminded me of the ''Kill Em' All'' era of METALLICA. Fast and relentless! The vocals remind me of a mix between James Hetfield and Max Cavalera. This is a nod to the old school. The second song is ''Lycanthropes''. This was like straight out of the late 80's, this was really reminiscent of the great stuff ANNIHILATOR was doing before they had quite a downspell. The third song is ''There Will Be Blood''. It sounded like really old SEPULTURA (there first few albums). But as for the singing its unintelligible gibberish and it's not really fun to hear to be honest.
The fourth song is ''Violent Mind of Hate''. It's definitely less aggressive than most of the songs off of this album. There are more solos than most of the songs (except the last song of this release). It sounds like good old Thrash Metal. The fifth song is ''World's Dead Side''. This sounded like the Crossover Punk scene from the eighties (something along the lines of DRI). Probably my favorite song of the album. The sixth song is ''Bringer of Torture''. It starts off with a nice bass solo. It's another song topping more than 5 minutes. Probably the most technical song of the album. Very reminiscent of the more recent SLAYER recordings.
The seventh song is ''Protectors''. This sounded straight out of ''Master of Puppets'' by METALLICA but mixed with some New Wave of British Heavy Metal elements. The eighth song is ''Executio Bestialis''. It has some really solid bass work throughout. It's pretty much another old school Thrash Metal song. The ninth song is ''Blooded Past, Burning Future''. It's the shortest song of the album with some wicked relentless drumming. The singer tries his best but his constant screaming does not really appeal to me. It's nothing we haven't seen before. The last and tenth song is ''Gilles de Rais''. It's a 10 minute opus with alot of interludes and long solos. It's not what I was expecting when I listened to a Thrash Metal! It was way too long and a bit too much for my own personal taste.
Good effort but the lack of a good singer hurts this band unfortunately.
