Zero Tolerance
Mantas

The band name is taken from one of their guitarists. Knowing that he is also one of the founding members of Venom, I was expecting something pretty intense.
When the first song started it knocked me off my seat. But, after I picked myself up, I began to headbang, like a maniac! Mantas is fast, brutal, ambient and frightening (I don't recommend sleeping to this baby). The guitar-work is both extremely heavy and catchy. I like this because too many bands sacrifice melody for extra crunch.
The vocalist has a more accessible voice than most black metal bands. However, he still may be too much for some parties. His singing is, in turns, menacing and beautiful.
The sleeve is highly atmospheric. However, it is sometimes a little hard to read.
Kill It is the only weak track on Zero Tolerance due to lack of melody.
Zero Tolerance is the opener and title track of the album. It is a driven song about revenge. Zero Tolerance is a highly headbangable track and worth, at least, half a dozen listens!
Look Who Died is about rage and religion. It is an extremely disturbing song and contains some of the most unsettling soundclips and music on the album. It is my favorite track on Zero Tolerance.
Insanity is the scariest and second coolest song on the album. It is fast, angry and catchy.
Mantas is an excellent band, with a good sense of melody, instantly likeable. If you are a fan of scary music, like I am, you are in-for an enjoyable ride!Turn it up and headbang away!
