No Fear to Persevere...

Heavy Metalers from Toronto Canada, MANACLE have tapped the vein of old school Power Metal, harkening back to the days of HELLOWEEN, and ANVIL for their long-awaited debut. Having run into line up changes and stalling with their release, the album wasn't available until two years after it was recorded according to guitarist Inti Paredes. "No Fear to Persevere..." is only six songs, but they have a lot to deliver.
"Fight for Your Life" has an acoustic opening, favored by Inti for its clean sound and perfect for opening a show with. Vocalist Kevin Pereira brings it harder in the following track "Tears of Wrath". Inti says that this was the track where he knew he had to hire a lead singer as he was unable to play and sing at the same time. With "Journey's End" clocking in at over six minutes, it's the longest song on the album, but it has a great message to never sit around and let your life slip through your fingers. Studying the lyrics, it may have another meaning. Pereira sings, "If I keep this up it'll drive me insane... It's nobody's fault but I'm in too deep..." There is also an aversion to going back home. Inti's guitars are on point through the entire track right up to the end. "Live Fast, Die Fast", the oldest song from MANACLE, appearing on the very first demo in 2013 and has never sounded better. The track cleans up good, with Kevin Pereira's vocals at the helm, it's an instant Power Metal classic. Opening with an epic thirty second drum solo courtesy of drummer Spannah, "Witches Hollow" is a cautionary tale of why you should never trust any magical women no matter how attractive and seductive they are. That's how you get your ass put under a spell and probably devoured.
MANACLE has waited long enough to come out of the shadows again, and they've really come a long-ass way from when they first formed in the 80s, and they prove, once again, that Metal can't and won't die.
