Malummeh - Revival album cover

Even though I was frustrated with this release at first, I then realized that this would be an easy and relaxing review since the time I will waste on it will be almost zero. MALUMMEH is a Finnish Metalcore band (I don't want to hear bullshit like melodic Death/Thrash Metal!) that is one more band added to the boring list I have. No more Metalcore for me please! The pile of shit is growing really big!

The Finnish youngsters released two demos (Turning Point in 2005 and Rape, Repeat, Despise in 2006) that helped them sign the contract they currently have with Spikefarm Records (a subdivision of Spinefarm). Their music features all the classic brutal and melodic stuff that are irritating me since every band sounds the same to my ears. The vocals are brutal, the drumming is both groovy and extreme (blasts etc) and the guitar work is mostly based on what the Swedish scene has offered (as most Metalcore bands do).

What I am trying to say here is that MALUMMEH have nothing to offer to you, except if you are 15 years old and have just discovered Metal by listening to KILLSWITCH ENGAGE and UNEARTH. If you want to spend money on Revival it is your own fault.
