Center of The Great Unknown

MAGICA must be the first band I have ever listened to that came from Romanian lands, I have listened to bands from Iraq and Russia, but never one from the lands famous as the setting for Dracula. It never ceases to amaze me how global Metal is, we are literally everywhere.
Anyway, MAGICA is a Power Metal band formed in 2002 and has since released five studio albums, with "Center of The Great Unknown" being their sixth. Let me start this review by saying what a great title this is, it speaks to me of Lovecraftian themes about the search of truth and the subsequent loss of sanity inherent to that knowledge.
What can I say about this album? It is a good record, cool riffs and solos, pretty standard rhythmic section, but what kind of bugged me about it was the lead vocals, they sound kind of weak, lacking somewhat a bit of power and fury.
This album didn't impress me too much, besides its great title, it is not a horrible album, but there is nothing overwhelmingly special about it either.
