Metal maniacs, rejoice! I am proud to present to you: MAESTUS; signed via Code666 Records, hailing from the United States of America - performing Blackened Doom Metal, on their sophomore album entitled: "Deliquesce" (released February 8th, 2019).

Since formation in 2013; the band in question have an EP, a Demo and 2 albums in their discography so far; I am introduced to their sophomoric album entitled: "Deliquesce". 4 tracks ranging at around 50:26; MAESTUS arranges an intricately designed formula of heavy-hitting Blackened Doom Metal developments. The titular track beings the record; conveying atmospheric ambience of despair and ruination, sorrowful anguish amalgmated with amplified hymns of hardened vehemence. Instrumentally calming; on the contrary... also fiercely deadly in culmination, executing a host of boistrously bouncy harmonics and a design of chaotic chugs converged with meticulous mayhem - manifesting a grandiose granduer of creatively diverse melancholic prodegiousness, proficiently primitive with progressively technical remedies and skill.

Consisting of SP on guitars and vocals; the frontman flamboyantly contrasts with concretely complex dexterity, gritty efficiencies composed with consistently crunchy craftsmanship - demonstrating guttural growls and profusely robust pipes of persistently relentless ramifications. "Black Oake" distributes diligent domination; dealing with devilish hostility, hasty rhythms while subjugating with solid soundscapes that's thunderously organic – providing quintessential substance, rapidly swift nimbleness that's polished with fluid fabrications and a barraged frenzy of inventively gnarly instrumentation. Audible bassist KP (also on vocals) contributes adroit attributes; frolicking like a stomping stampedes, ultilizing versatile varieties of mesmerizing musicianship that showcases savagely sinister salubriousness.

"The Impotence Of Hope" injects catchy aesthetics of infectious grooves; experimented with a bleak mood in which implements excelling keyboard and pianist elements from SB, immersed with a malevolent malign that thumps with rambunctious results. The songwriting is memorably original; offering pummelling sound production sufficiencies from powerhouse drummer CC, integrating uniquely unprecedented slams that hammer with battering detail and diligent captivation. NK also on guitars portrays quality riffs; rigourous solos, and a constructively distinguished distinction of impressively dynamic orchestrations. "Knell Of Solemnity" overall concludes the record; supplying a borderline foundation of finesse, bludgeoning concepts and a vastly vicious representation of raspy rawness.

Bottom line; all 4 songs are over 10 minutes long, and kept me in suspense...waiting for what elegantly exquisite gloominess awaits. Fuelled with silver lining seamlessness, and seamlessly sonic shines that are enjoyably entertaining. MAESTUS certainly outdone themselves here, and is a discovery that's worth the time.
