Lucid Skies - Hounds album cover

Holy shit, damn and of course holy Moses, I'm doing a Metalcore review, I was able to dodge this bullet time and time again, but eventually it will get you to the end.

So an EP from LUCID SKIES, a band that originated in Edmonton, Canada and I thought that Canadian are supposed to be more relaxed then the Americans, oh my god what a surprise I got with this EP called "Hounds", a classic Metalcore release with a decent melodic section and the best thing was that surprisingly that I enjoyed it. I was trying to figure out why, is it me in my old age that I'm getting more violent or depressed that this kind of music with so many profanity appeals to me. I think that the answer is that "Hounds" that is dominating, full of power and energy with some great guitars and vocals. Even though it's a Metalcore EP, it is one of the best, now the only thing left is to try finding a flight to Edmonton, Canada in order to find these guys live in a local bar, probably it would be a blast.
