Metal maniacs, rejoice! I'm proud to present: LUCID DREAMING; signed via STF Records, hailing from the glory of Germany - performing Power Metal, on their 2nd album entitled: "The Chronicles Pt II" (released September 15th, 2017).

Since formation in 2012; this one-man solo artist in question have 1 album behind them, I'm introduced to the 2nd record called "The Chronicles Pt II". 10 tracks ranging at around 01:12:05, the soloist delivers a solid slab of intricately designed Power Metal equalities that provide unprecedented discoveries and admirable performances of hard-hitting melodies and rhythmic distinctions. Opening with the operatic "Introduction" that emphasizes on an choir based hymn that has a cheesy embodiment for an introductory track; this element is however more embellished with the track "Who Am I", which implements a consistent ability in constructive instrumental diversity. It's a distinguished songwriting process; with its organic blend of enjoyable aesthetics in which doesn't sound dirty or gritty, instead – things sound proficiently divine, minimizing unnecessary sinister savagery as much as possible, which is a pleasant breath of fresh air.

Consisting of Till Oberboßel who I believe performs on all instruments; arranges a flourishing development in complex dexterity and efficiently composed harmonic riffs, pummeling drum executions and sufficient amount of diligently mechanized progressive technicalities. "Morvas Marshes" has a fantasy-based theme with an unknown guest female vocalist amalgamated; it's an enjoyable tune, which converges an adroitly bouncy coordination with prominently epic anthems. "Man Of The Land" is hastier in tone, integrating a salubrious velocity of dominant mid-tempo strength while distributing a dreamy stimulation of relentless attributions that's all around splendid. "Cantrevs Of Prydain" supplies more rapid nimbleness with extremely powerful bass establishments and blast beating immensity, showcasing the more broad substances this incredibly talented solo artist has invented.

"Judgement Day" variates with thrash oriented chaos and one of the most captivatingly high-pitched screams I've heard since MANOWAR, JUDAS PRIEST & KING DIAMOND had to offer. "Temptation" brings a concrete acoustic passage, which opens with a segment of someone somewhat walking into a room, to play a mesmerizing piece that continues through the song – with a slight metal guitar playing the same rhythm, and more chorale-like singing. "The Fate Of Fools" generates more uplifting Power Metal where the drums overtake with powerful hostility, more stellar riffs & crushing headbanging glory. "My Land Of Pain" is the longest song on the record at 9:38, which has a magnificent chugging guitar riff that just manifests with a grandiose of adequate coherence, an abundance of thrashing mad riffs shrouded in a significantly amazing solo that is just blistering and extremely hard not to headbang to - one of the finer tracks on the record.

Overall concluding with the atmospheric "Summers End"; I was very surprised "The Chronicles Pt II" met my expectations as well as succeeding them, certainly a record that all music/metal fans will relish in - go listen for yourself.<
