Lovekillers Feat. Tony Harnell - Lovekillers album cover

LOVEKILLERS FEAT. TONY HARNELL is a Italian Melodic Rock band that marks the return of Tony from TNT back to this kind of style. They have recently released their first album "Lovekillers Feat. Tony Harnell" and thats what we are going to talk about. The opening track from the album is "Alive Again" and it starts out with a beautiful piano that creates a really melodic ambiance and then the drums strike and the guitar solos hits in. The vocals are pretty good, clear and they fits perfectly the song. I liked how the vocal lines from the stanzas are easy to sing, but the chorus is just awesome! You will be singing it as soon as you hear it for the first time.

"Hurricane" starts out in a totally 80's Rock vibe and that's just great. There's a beautiful and inspiring guitar solo on the beginning as the Hard Rock guitar riffs sounds in the background. There are much more use of synthesizer here, but as the previous song the chorus is here is just amazing. You will be totally transported to the 80's era. "Ball And Chain" starts out in a more darker way, with some synthesizer creating a tense ambiance and then the guitar riffs hits in and they are heavy... there's a guitar solo to contrast with a beautiful melody. The vocals are deeper here and there's a great instrumental on the stanzas. The guitar work here is really good and so is the drums. The highlight goes out to the guitar solo that is totally good!

"Who Can We Run To" starts out with a beautiful piano and its soon joined by really inspiring guitar solos as the drums gives it the right beat. Its definitely a darker and more melancholic song, but its so beautiful that you need to listen to. All the vocal lines and the instrumental are beautiful as fuck. "Higher Again" starts out with a good synthesizer that was stolen from the 80's. The guitar work is incredible, the vocals are amazing and the keys, bass and drums are just as great too. Nothing much to say about it. "Across The Oceans" starts out with a good clean guitar tone with a keyboards on the back. It feels like a really nice ballad to listen to and the vocals are inspiring, you will definitely "fly inside your head" as you listen to the song and whisper the words from the chorus.

"Bring Me Back" starts out with a very beautiful piano playing some arrangements and great clean guitar tones as well. It has a powerful instrumental that makes place to the vocals. The vocal lines from the chorus as astonishing and the lyrics wow... Listen to it!!! "Now Or Never" starts on a more happy way with a melodic guitar riff that will cheer you up. The keyboards arrangements fits perfectly the song and gave to it an 80's vibe. "Heavily Broken" starts out with beautiful bass piano and a guitar creating a heavily ambiance. The vocals are pretty good here as always, its a song to listen to on a lonely rainy day as it definitely feels like a sad song. But I can't lie its beautiful.

"No More Love" starts out with the piano again but then the guitar riffs hits in and they are more aggressive. There's a beautiful orchestration created by the keyboards as soon as the vocals starts. Great song with a highlight to the drums! "Set Me Free" continues the starts with the deep melancholic piano, but now it feels more like a ballad. The ambiance created by the piano is beautiful and I can imagine this song live... some people are gonna cry. There's a little bit more cheer up part when the guitars hits in right before the chorus that man... was probably of the best vocal works on the whole album.

"Bring Me Back (Japan Bonus Track)" is the song that closes the album. It starts out with a beautiful piano and clean guitars. I loved that both the original electric version and the acoustic sounds great as hell. They know things...LOVEKILLERS FEAT. Tony Harnell have written and released a Melodic Rock album. I must say that writing an album where all the songs are great and none of them are at least a little bit boring or bad is something really hard, but these guys made it. Its a great album and they have a 10!
