England is the country where Metal was born in the late years of the 60's, the same one who brought Metal back to life with NWOBHM, and English shores established models on music and scene that are still used throughout the world. Of course it's usual to expect too much from a Metal band born on UK, and sometimes it's not fair. But with LOST HUMAN, the expectations are fulfilled, as the band's new EP, "Omitted from Life" shows.

On this 3-track EP, the band shows itself as a Black Metal band, but with a different insight than the usual. It's morbid and somber, but with a nasty and introspective way to be, filled with sad and dirty melodies, and an inner personality that is deep and sometimes difficult to understand, because there are some different elements used on the mix of their music. Well, accept as it is and deal with it, as simple as these words means. Lord (the band's leader and its only fix member) produced the album, creating something that has a morbid and eerie appeal, but clean and defined in a way that even a dummy can understand. Some tunes on drums seem artificial, but it's not a great problem to deal with.

Their music is charming and hypnotic, but their value is to be respected. "Omitted from Life" shows a nasty set of rusty melodies, along with a different way of using shrieked tune on vocals. The mix between a set of funereal ambiances with an eerie aggressiveness shown on "Inundated with Misery" is very good, where bass guitar and drums creates a massive and heavy rhythm. And nasty keyboards parts with an oppressive set of guitar riffs of "A Prerequisite for..." is a very good idea, indeed.

"Omitted from Life" has only one defect: it could have more songs!
