LION TWIN is a Metal-Pop duo from Wuppertal in Germany which was established in the early summer of 2011 by Jan Koemmet (guitar) and Liane Vollmer-Sturm (vocals). The album was self produced but mixed & mastered by the legendary Michael Wagener (ALICE COOPER, MEGADETH, ACCEPT, MÖTLEY CRÜE, RAVEN, METALLICA, JANET JACKSON, QUEEN, OZZY OSBOURNE) at his Nashville studios.

I love so much the track "Notung" with fabulous riffs & Hard Rock from an 80's climate and very memorable chorus which digs into the mind after first listening. The track has a brilliant and memorable refrain, and the keys give brilliant atmosphere. Worth to mention that here is an amazing guitar solo and perfect rhythmic section. Fantastic opener "Ready to Rock" has fantastic keys with guitar riffs in happy Hard Rock mood like VAN HALEN & perfectly working rhythmic section. What a catchy refrain in high climate with nice singing by duo vocalists - I just love it! "When the Lights Go on" has a nice bass line working in ballad style with stunning duo vocals - female & male and then is a noteable true Hard Rock style which I just adore!

Udo Dirkschneider (ACCEPT and U.D.O.) sings a duet with Liane in "Day of Anger". This is another powerful track which is hit! Very powerful song with memorable refrain singing together by incredible duo - fantastic Liane and the amazing vocals of Udo. Impressive guitar solo makes this track kick some ass! In my opinion this is true killer song! Liane Vollmer-Sturm has a beautiful, strong voice with powerful and can showing emotions through singing. She has such power like DORO in singing. She has a clear voice and her enunciation of the lyrics is pure as can be.

Very enjoyable is "Tristan & Isolde" with stronger melodic guitars, energetic drums & bass, excellent solo, glistening singing and beauty in every part of this track. "Behold the Man" is opened by organs, heavier riffs in Hard Rock '80 climate. Catchy chorus reminds a little ROXETTE with so happy and fresh mood in melodic choir singing. Interesting chorus with similarity to JADED HEART in singing is in "Far Away" where one can find melody, stronger riffs and Folkish influences too.

Worth to listen to are: "Eco Warrior" with modern techniques, stronger guitars, clear production on high level & memorable refrain with killer guitar solo, "Occupy!" with fabulous riffs, galloping drums, stronger vocal, modern sounds, excellent riffs and even with classical influences and also wonderful ballad "Wings of Love" with nice violins in a cinematic and romantic atmosphere and gentle piano.

Album "Nashville" is a gift to all lovers of Melodic Hard Rock & AOR. Every track on this album is a potential hit! Fantastic riffs, clear rhythmic section and beautiful vocal deliveries. Catchy choruses dig into listener's mind for a long time. I really enjoyed my listening to the new songs of these German Rockers. Highly recommended to every Hard Rock fan! Be careful - this album totally addictive!
