Canadians LAUGH AT THE FAKES have released their new album entitled "Dethrone The Crown" and it is pure Rock And Metal Roll, influenced by likes of CORROSION OF CONFORMITY, MEGADETH, ALICE IN CHAINS, IRON MAIDEN, ACDC, JUDAS and artists alike the result is something quite neat, fresh and very cool.

Canada is well known for having awesome bands and LAUGH AT THE FAKES have not disappointed. "Not Like Me" opens the CD with cool guitars, nice riffs and very clear sounds, the vocals are very good, really reminds me of James Hetfield when he was young, very cool solos, pure modern Heavy Metal. "Death Awaits" kicks off with a great chorus and middle pace drumming, the guitars are just killers, great stuff, and the bass just  kicks asses, at times sounds like FAITH NO MORE, with the aggressive chorus, cool stuff indeed!!

Lets "Cut To Chase" awesome, I must say It took me awhile to digest the songs but once I did then it was just fun, very good band with a great attitude; Rock And Roll is not dead, whoever said that it is far off base, here we have some great tunes and great melodies and you will get sucked into it.

"Killing Me" another good track, lots of variations throughout, then you are "Fighting Dirty" very good intro well arranged with cool bass lines, very heavy song, great instrumental; "Got No Regrets" is another killer, love the vocals, these guys really know what they are doing, "Harmonica Playing Man" and cool ballad with lots or guitar work, very catchy and mellow indeed.

"And I" takes a very 80s sounding approach and the result is fantastic, very smart and happy song, fans of Hard Rock will love this album, and closing the CD we have "Dethrone The Crown", another big hit with lots of everything. Production is top notch and the front cover is killer!!!
