Forget Every Sunrise

Once again I have to deal with an Italian band, but the really nice and professional work that has been done regarding the CD's artwork prepared me for some nice and ass kicking music.
The Italian act was formed in 2001. While reading a copy of the band's biography that was sent with the promo, I read the following funny thing: ...steering LAHMIA's music towards a more melodic Death Metal group from their earlier sound of Thrash/Goth
Anyway, with this being their second demo release, LAHMIA are probably searching for a label that can help them and support them for a full-length release. Their music is a kind of melodic Death Metal, but not the classic NWOSDM style that has flooded the market. These guys are mostly based on melody in order to create a depressive and melancholic atmosphere, something that seems to be one of the musical remnants of their past. The guitars have some nice leads and some beautiful ideas in general, but they surely need some improvement.
The fact is that I am not such a fan of this melancholic melodic Death Metal sound, but I believe that if these guys had the support if a label and had some extra funds for the recordings they would surely do miracles. If you are into this kind of music, you should definitely check them out.
