Revolution
Lacrimosa

Revolution is a word that has a strong use in these days, It doesn't matter if it's for the sake of the fashion, or because you really felt it, but with this album LACRIMOSA is making a true statement: they do not need anything else but their talent and their own conception, like anyone in this world, they put the order to their chaos, and Revolution is awesome in all the concepts used.
In the musical sense: this disc is closer to metal than to symphonic sound, that has always been a characteristic in LACRIMOSA, extensive use of guitars, percussions, and the piano is determinant in almost all the songs. As usual, some songs have a long duration, even when the disc is not long.
The voices are very well played by Tilo Wolff, Anne Nurmi on this occasion, has only a song for her, but her play on the keys is nothing but amazing, making melodies that really get into your mind, sometimes using the electronic touch, or turning into something more aggressive, with a little warlike style, supported by the strong and deep voices of Wolff, that's the trademark of this band.
All in all, this release is nothing different for LACRIMOSA, but it is different in this world, the word revolution does has a meaning here, the message here is the only revolution that would really work, the inside one, if you begin to change for your own sake, what lies around you will change, even if this world will never change, it is not a reason for not trying it, and this album is that: a change.
