This Is Revenge
Klynt
Metal maniacs, rejoice! I am proud to present to you: KLYNT; unsigned independently, hailing from Austrian grounds - performing Power/Thrash Metal, on their 2nd EP entitled: "This Is Revenge" (released June 5th, 2019).
Since formation in 2008; the band in question have 2 EPs, 2 singles and 2 full-length albums in their discography so far...I am introduced to their 2nd EP entitled: "This Is Revenge". 5 tracks ranging at around 22:11; KLYNT arrange an intricately designed formula of heavy-hitting Power/Thrash Metal developments. The cryptic introduction: "Bringer Of Doom" begins the EP; conveying a retro-styled themed soundscape that sounds like the band are playing a video game, raged with a demonic fuzz of static - until they jump out of their seats throwing down frolicking chugs & galloping mayhem in the next track: "Wildaxe". Demonstrating amplified adrenaline; boistrously bouncy crunchiness, and a blistering barrage of flamboyantly concrete gnarliness in which uniquely ultilize versatile vehemence with wildly rushing stampedes that manifest meticulously malignant madness.
Consisting of Sir Dadukles Prime on vocals; the frontman has a distinct flair of high-pitched pipes, lungs that showcase organic screams with a rawly rough ramification to it. Screaming with throaty raspiness; juxtaposed with rip-roaring shreds from duo guitarists Patrick Hiebler & Flavius Miron, the pair thunder with complex dexterity while supplying rhythmic solidity. Songs like "Bloodstained And Driven" & "Berserk Prayer" inject infectiously groovy executions of audible bass fabrications from Gregor; implementing creatively dynamic haste, pummelling meatiness with thumpy yet rambunctiously volatile pursuits of quintessential quakes that pound with striking savagery – subjugating with riveting riffs & sonically seamless solos that showcase momentously primitive subtlty. Crafting a borderline foundation of comedic contrast, catchy expertise & fierce firepower.
Battering drummer Alex Fürbaßo also hammers his set with steely weight; tenaciously thrashing with smashing virtuosity, transistioned into an energetic tradition of profusely robust melodies. Overall concluding "This Is Revenge" with the finale song: "Question Of Steel"; KLYNT delivers an articulate fashion of experimental detail, embellishing on diligent finesse & hybrid harmonies with rapidly swift nimbleness.
Bottom line; the band certainly outdone themselves here with some brutally extreme, and barbaric consistency - good shit - this is indeed a band worth looking out for in the future! A fluidly prestigious septet who rampently portray hardened hymns of razor-sharp stability...all bundled together with distorted domination and an adroit aesthetic of influential diversity, varied with viciously prospheying doom – deadly heaviness & progressively technical thrashiness. Do check it out!
