King - Forged By Satan's Doctrine album cover

When listening to a Satanic release, though I really don't know if it is just for the thrill of it like VENOM or is it a true genuine Antichrist approach, I try to understand the true source of hatred and why. As a person that doesn't believe in the power of religion as something to look up to or as a pillar of social order, I can somewhat understand the burning red although I believe that it should end here, with the music without taking further actions. The self expression, even in the repulsive lyrical ways, is a part of Democracy, which isn't being run by religion, so us folks have to cope and live with it. The mouth of the Black / Death / Thrash Metal maniacs that formulated KING isn't different from other religion protesters and haters out there, yet I need to know something, and it concerns them and other alike, why does the outcome, in this case the band's new release "Forged By Satan's Doctrine" via Deathgasm Records, has to sound so freaking bad, produced and composed?

I don't think that it is about being the tough anti religious hammerheads that will hail and kill in the name of total darkened anarchism, KING are here to make one suffer the belly of the beast, being ripped to pieces by the hands of the downstairs lord through a period of eleven nasty tracks of rawness. However, most of this release is plainly something that will be spitted out of your head as fast as it came in. It was like nothing here seemed to had tried to make you stay for a while and smell the filth. With intensified speed, loaded with triggering base drum, raw yet modern sounded SLAYER like guitars, and anguished low to mid high end grunts and hellish screams, KING molested my spirit and not in a good way. Without any sort of prejudice, I simply didn't connect to either of the songs, and believe me that I heard rougher things in the past, so it is not about lack of experience there. "Kill The Posers Like Fucking Christians", a title really badly pronounced, and "No Pray, No Mercy, Just Death" were somewhat a little above the average but I can't deem them as exciting creations to be proud about.

What is interesting is that I couldn't answer my own question about the low quality of the release all throughout the review. Well maybe the answer is upon the shoulders of its creators. However, I trust that these guys will remain truthful to their origins and ideas because they can, want and believe it is the only way to go.
