Old School Death Metallers, KILLING ADDICTION, have just released a brand new EP entitled "When Death Becomes An Art" with only two songs. This Floridian quartet has been around since 1988, with two full length albums under their belt and a few Demos and EP's; these guys really know in how to deliver the goods, and "When Death Becomes An Art" is no different. First track "Legacies Of Terror" sounds very modern with lots of guitar work and very heavy and dirty as well, fine vocals, brutal and grotesque, fast tempo with lots of variation. Florida is well known for have given us tones of fine Death Metal bands such as MORBID ANGEL, MONSTROSITY, MALEVOLENT CREATION... and KILLING ADDICTION does not disappoint at all. "Promethean" delivers more madness, excellent drumming and awesome arrangements, lots of break ups in the song and the vocals nails it again; very cool EP, straight to the point approach, and I really like it. My only negative comment is, it's too short, but nevermind, hopefully in the future we can have a full length album and why not? Fucking awesome stuff, very cool band, very nice production and very cool artwork.
