I was not aware of the existence of Black Metal / Grindcore bands. The combination of the two styles is new to me and that is what KILLSGASM are about, a band of three crazy maniacs hailing from California. They arose from hell in 2002 and prior to releasing "A Stab In The Heart Of Christ" their latest effort, they did release others EPs bearing some interesting names like; "Sodomized For Satan", "Black Metal Whore Killer", "Goat Grind" and a full album called "BloodBath Of Satanic Vengeance", with names like these I do not have to go into more details about their lyrics, Right?

Musically wise I have to say that it is excellent; it is very fast with some crazy drums pace and diabolical vocals. I mean I love a band with the drummer singing, that requires tones of energy and coordination and when the bass player sings as well, oh my!! All hell breaks loose indeed. The first track set the pace for the whole album, "Black Grind Terror" followed by "The Revenge Of The Panzergoat" a total blast of nuclear war and what is left is the "Planet Earth Mass Grave" while "The Smell Of A Stolen Innocence" feeling "High On Church Fumes" away from this "Miserable Existence" the sound of a twisted guitar sending "A Stab In The Heart Of Christ", "Cold, Dead And Spread" and now  there is no turn back because "Humanity In Ashes" that what is left.

KILLGASM as the name suggests, it is about the extreme, lots of variations on the songs, twisted riffs with a nice touch of the old masters BATHORY, DISSECTION and also adding to it their own style thereby creating something new Blackened Grindcore. This is extreme music for extreme people.
