Kill Everything - Scorched Earth album cover

KILL EVERYTHING and their latest album Scorched Earth is Brutal Death Metal in its purest form. From the non stop chugging Guitars played by Weston Wylie and Brian Wynn, to the Insane drum work played by Shane Newbrough and sick bass lines from Jeff Huffman. Mike Majewski's vocals are phenomenally deep and grimy, perfect for this Death Metal band. "Kill Everything" the first song sets the standard for the whole album. "Try and murder everyone on the planet earth"  is the end of the clip at the beginning of the song and it put a huge smile on my face.

"Scorched Earth" the self titled track kinda reminds think Dying Fetus and Suffocation got together and left their love child at a gateway to hell, and Satan himself refused to let it in because it was too much for him to handle. "Intrinsic Vexation" is one song I would stay far away from the pit if I was at their show. It has a non stop ferociousness to it that makes it sick as fuck and I love it. "Bereft of Humanity" comes in like your drunken bloodthirsty step dad that wants to beat the shit out of you, and then whips your ass for four minutes and sixteen seconds.

"Thermal Liquidation" does not let up on the brutish nature of this album in the slightest. For fans of heavy chugs this will probably be your favorite. Now onto the track that had me in tears from laughing so hard at the title, "It's a Wonderful Knife" is like drinking one hundred energy drinks and then jumping out of a plane. Would you like a blast of adrenaline with your blast beats? Sure why the hell not?! It was one of the more arresting songs on this great opus.

"Laid to Waste" continues Scorched Earth with a viciousness unparalleled to any other song on the album thus far. The craftsmanship is immaculate and I am pretty sure the last track will live up to the rest of this piece de resistance. "Carnivorous Lunar Activities" takes first place as best song on the album hands down. If speed balling had a sound this is it. Wonderful ending to a wonderful album. Great work and I am really happy I had the chance to hear it!
