KICK TOY is Hard Rock band from Nashville, Tennessee in USA. They have released their album called "Childchood Nightmares A Trilogy" in 2014. Music of band has influences of such bands like KISS, AC/DC, MOTLEY CRUE, RAMONES, ALICE COOPER, TWISTED SISTER and many more.

From first sounds of "You Freak Me Out" we know & feel that we have contact with true & happy Rock'n'Roll. Guitar riffs remind me of KISS in way of playing. Very enjoyable track! Nice fresh energetic climate in RAMONES style is in "Morning After (Get Out)" and my favourite is "Don't Swallow" with Melodic Hard Rock guitars, POISON echoes and stadium choir. In "Freakshow" is the feeling of dirty Hard Rock with touches of AC/DC or THE DARKNES, fine solo and melody. Melodic "Fire Away" has MOTLEY CRUE echoes, and the memorable "Scream" would be better with better quality. They sounds like boys from high school playing in the garage on this CD.

I think that KICK TOY is an interesting band, they are young and powerful with passion that is hear able in their music. The catchy melodic refrains are ok, but for me their album sounds too amateur and their future work should be more overworked and not so poor as far as quality. I'm looking forward on their next work and I'm keeping my fingers crossed for them because they have big potential.
