Hailing from Netherlands, KHAOZ released their new album "I, Creator Of Damnation". Not only they do classic brutal Death Metal like in the late 80's, their album cover is also wicked. KHAOZ was formed around 2008 from members coming from many groups like SINISTER, PLEURISY, THE EMBODIMEN and others, so you can rest assure that they are veterans and know what they are doing, the album actually proved my case.

KHAOZ are using an old but cool trick, the double vocals habit, one vocal is on growling and the other is in a total screaming mode. This double vocals layout provides a wicked atmosphere to the songs in the album. From the start of "Ravishing KhaoZ", KHAOZ's style is laid before us, brutal classic Death Metal with shredding guitars and I'm talking about real hard shredding and of course the dialog between the two vocals is wicked (yes again).

"I, Creator Of Damnation" sent me back to the days when I was real headbanging hard to the rhythms of Old school Death Metal, in the early days it was just Death without additions. KHAOZ are true to the basics and for my astonishment I found the album's musical value to be great, it's not only a brutal attack of meat grinding but also immersed by stumping rhythms that were incorporated great with the guitar and again the two different vocals pitch.
