Serpent Gods
Karma Violens
Metal maniacs, rejoice! I am proud to present to you: KARMA VIOLENS; signed via Growl records, hailing from Greek soil - performing Extreme/Black Metal, on their third album entitled: "Serpent God" (released April 13th, 2018).
Since formation in 2002; the quintet in question have two albums behind them, I am introduced to their 3rd album: "Serpent God". 10 tracks ranging at around 38:31; KARMA VIOLENS arrange an intricately designed development of hard-hitting Extreme/Black Metal amalgamations, starting off with the introductory track "Men Of Gibeah" and the savagely sinister titular track; I experience a solid slab of distinctively deadly executions of concretely killer aesthetics, balanced with a grandiose manifestation of melodious contrast and brutal extremity. The quartet deliver a distinguished formula of this juxtaposition, in which demonstrates the band's creatively organic craftsmanship here proficiently well.
Consisting of Marios on vocals; the frontman provides menancing complexity of growling shrieks and consistently dominant anguish, "Sons Of Destruction" showcases the dark, dynamic yet powerful dexterity from guitar duo George & Costas. Supplying an endless amount of rhythmic torment (in the good sense). "A Letter To The Worthless Chamber" distributes diligent songwriting adroitness as the borderline foundation of the progressively technical mechanics are brilliantly implemented with the element of ambience, converged with the extremity of the Metal landscape diversely variates with distinguished attributes of profusely robust characteristics of bouncy yet conveying crunchy efficaciousness - especially in the barraged assault of "The Sun I Never Had".
"Dark Morel" portrays more fascinating fabrications of flamboyant efficiencies from powerhouse bassist Steven, who establishes battering composing which hammers with a monstrously thunderous tempo and a primitive sense of bestial devastation. "The Constractors" embellished with more unprecendented inventiveness, as the band emphasizes on remarkable stability to blow your mind with immeasureable vehemence. "Radix Malorum" has a magnitude of enlightening songwriting adeptness, intensely pounding with constructive ramifications and rapidly swift nimbleness. "Eternal Darkness" has a more different direction with harmonically hardened hymns of weighted fulfilment, an admirable change.
Overall concluding "Serpent God" with "Blood Aurora"; I am compelled to say that KARMA VIOLENS certainly outdone themselves with this one, a finely created piece of art filled with finesse - check it out.
