KAMERA OBSKUR is more likely an experimental project than a band. Their music isn't something you can easily categorise. They swing between many kinds of styles and jenres. All the nice atm influences are here. Porcupine(y) Tree atmospheres and Anathema(tic) grooves. Future gazing sounds flirting with something as vintage as Hawkwind and as modern as Ulver.
Chill out mid-tempo jazzy drum rhythms and vocals singing in the background keeping that "not sure what this is" mood. The guitars often chord noisy and then turn to clean-distorted hubrid sounds.A significant touch through out the whole album is the noisy/atm sounds. Very smartly blended with the rest of the instruments as they keep a minimalistic philosophy. Or in other words notes stick to the point even if the point isn't clear, alterning from spacey to vintage colours.
Overall the material could be easily called a soundtrack from a never releashed movie. A very interesting experiment that definately deserves attention.
