From my research I couldn't really find much on this band, literally the only knowledge I have of this band comes from websites with only little information. I can't really tell you what this band is like and I don't know what to expect so let's see what we get shall we.
"De Kult"
The start of this track has some very groovy drum beats that work with the relentless tone of the bands sound and the way it is going so far. is pretty badass at that. We can see the band's using war tones and black metal frame work to create something that is both pleasing to the ear and at the same time wild and relentless, which helps build the tone of the track and create a very deep and evil sound; creating this beast of a track needed a great balance of bracing tones and speed mixed with the band's own ideas and creativity, which in result comes to this incredible song.
"De Heerser Wederkeert"
Compared to the previous track we see KAECK is going deeper into the extremity and bring together some more wild and vicious tones, though the one thing you can see when listening to this track is the extremity in the vocals which are just incredible to hear. The actual tone we see in the band is one that is wild and just out there with some very mental and visual sounds that create this illusion of madness, being brought out by the whole of the band.
"Holenmuur"
The sounds of suffering are what we start to hear when we come to this mighty track, it has some very different emotions to be very honest as if there is something tormenting the singer and bringing him into a void of hate and despair - the best way to explain how I feel right now is both confused but at the same time, I see what the band are doing with this track and how they are expressing themselves through this track in every way. It can be said that the tone we have here is one that really takes you from one happy place to a whole lot of dark thoughts, brought into one.
"Akolieten Van De Nacht"
Going straight into the good old spirit of Black metal, we see the band take the strength of what we have seen so far and turn it up to the highest level of power that they can. With this track we see some of the band's more darker influences show as we face fast riffs thunderous drum beats and the soul of a new life, being forced into our ears. I find that this is the type of sound you would expect from a band like this but in the end, it is awesome to see the guys in KAECK show the fans the levels of the band's sound and how they can go from one tone to another.
"Afgod"
I think it can be easily said that this is my favourite off of the record; just the way it starts is more then enough to get me going, just because of the backing tones that the band have used to create the track's atmosphere and create that really evil and destructive tone to which accompanies it. It feels that with this track there is a reckless amount of anger being poured out on this which I feel does make the track stand out from the rest of the entire record, as it shows just how far they will go to create something of this magnitude.
"Wormvloed"
It is terrifying just how much emotion can be found on this tune; the opening sees the vocalist weeping and then screaming out with such intensity and strength. The style we see this song go in is a whole new chapter in the book of extremity with how it goes from light to heavy as fuck; the entire track shows some great ideas in both sound and structure along with the speed and clarity of the entire band. I feel with this we have that groove element being played in there along with the drums, it is a track that shows us the power of each member from guitars, bass and drums down to the incredible nature of the vocals.
To conclude, I found this record to be both impressive and very well produced, the band themselves though are by far very talented in their craft and show incredible promise for the future, for those looking for war/black metal then this is the record for you.
