This Danish Heavy Metal outfit is set to release their second album through Mighty Music. Infusing their sound with old school Heavy Metal and Thrash JUSTIFY REBELLION worked meticulously to bring an album with heavy hooks and a high level of energetic intensity. Their sound is powerful, fun, and well refined. Already garnering some success with their debut album, they have set their sights on building from that success with the album "The Ends Justify The Means". This album takes us on a chaotic ride to the darker side of humanity with topics such as war, greed, lust, and drugs that are full of self-realization and vulnerability.

"Präeludium" is the prelude or intro track to the album, setting the stage for the quick descent into madness. An ominous guitar melody is layered upon an industrial sound, with whispering voices to give the onset of the album a very dark and eerie feel. "Crowd Control" shows us what JUSTIFY REBELLION has to offer right from the start. The fast-paced riffs and heavy, driving rhythm sends you into a chaotic world. The vocals stay at a mid-range on this track, which is consistent with the old school sound that they produce. It brings a fresh take to an older sound.

"Prisoner In Time" continues the heavy onslaught of the mind. Driving riffs are paired with shrieking guitar solos to hammer the track into your mind. The blend of Thrash and Heavy Metal gives this track a catchy and profound feel. The hooks are delivered great through the chorus really catching you and taking you along for the ride. Dare I say it; it has one hell of a groove! "Shameless" is slower paced but no less powerful. Slowing down the tempo on this track lets that heaviness linger as the riffs and drums beat you down in a good way. The chorus has an anthemic feel making you want to throw up those horns and just rock out hard!

"The Summoning" brings a heavy hitting, almost Southern hard rock feel. The riffs are well crafted and the track is overall well balanced. One part does not overpower others. Throughout the entire album, you hear this balance and something usually hard to guarantee in Thrash due to the speed and intensity of the instrumental work. JUSTIFY REBELLION has done a masterful job of creating that balance.

"The Bringer Of War" begins with a soft and gradually increasing acoustic guitar riff that explodes into heavy distortion and a powerful wall of sounds. The vocals drastically change in this track using various ranges and volumes to create a reigned-in chaos. This song gives a small amount of respite to the mind, a very brief break from the intensity of the rest of the album. "The Throne Of Greed" rounds out this heavy hitting album with a full-on riff onslaught rage to end the album. The tempo is fast-paced and never slows down. The chorus has clean vocals mixed with these high-speed riffs and offers a different layer of the band that we haven't heard in the beginning of the album. The chorus melody is catchy and makes you want to sing along before sending you back into the heavy riffs paired with eviscerating vocals.

This entire album is great all the way through. Every track on this album offers something unique, but when mixed all together brings a good continuity throughout. This is an art form in itself. Generally, you would have one or the other. Either a good continuity or uniqueness. To find a harmonic balance between the two is very difficult, even for the most well-seasoned bands, and these guys did it on their second album! Impressive! If you like old school Thrash and Heavy Metal, then this is the album for you. If not, this is still the album for you because it offers many different aspects that the majority of metal fans can enjoy. So go check it out for yourself. This is one you don't want to miss!
