Jordan Rudess - Feeding The Wheel album cover

While being on a hyperactive period (recording 2 albums, one with Dream Theater and one with David Bowie), Dream Theater keyboardist Jordan Rudess, just released his 5th personal album, Feeding The Wheel.
This album can only be generally characterized as progressive. Actually it is a mix of many elements, ranging mainly from progressive rock to progressive metal and jazz. As you also might have guessed, Feeding The Wheel is totally instrumental, thus giving all it's attention to the music.
In 62 minutes, one of the greatest keyboardists of our time, shows his skills, without making exaggerations, and showing off. To the technical superiority of this man, come to add a great number of known musicians, such as Terry Bozzio (Drums), Steve Morse (Guitars-Deep Purple), John Petrucci (Guitars-Dream Theater, Liquid Tension Experiment) and Billy Sheehan (Bass-Mr. Big, David Lee Roth, Steve Vai).
As with all albums of its kind, Feeding The Wheel isn't an easy-listening one, but die-hard Dream Theater and Liquid Tension Experiment fans, progsters and musicians, will definitely love it!
