No More Lies
Iron Maiden

Iron Maiden just finished their Give me Ed till I'm dead and Dance of Death tours and decided to release something special as a reward for all those (more than 1.500.000) fans worldwide who filled the venues in every single part of the planet.
So, there you have it, a limited souvenir E.P. called No More Lies (after the song on Dance of Death, also included in the E.P.). A cool box which includes an Iron Maiden wristband except from the expected CD and a beautiful booklet filled with photos of Iron Maiden from their tours. When I say limited...I mean really limited, trust me!
The E.P. includes No More Lies as a plain audio track and as a live video-clip from their tour too! Need I say anything about this song? From the very first moment I listened to the Dance of Death album (released in 2003), this song was constantly playing in repeat despite everyone else initially mentioning only songs like Dance of Death, Paschendale etc as remarkable. The point is that I feel sort of rewarded for insisting that this song was going to become a Maiden classic, now that I got the limited E.P. in my hands. The video-clip is amazing, as always when it comes to Iron Maiden, the crowd's simply ecstatic and Maiden throw a show like they know how to do best (for the last 24 years).
The orchestral version of Paschendale made my bones shiver with joy because I always wanted to hear what Iron Maiden would sound like together with an orchestra (with violins etc) and even though this isn't an actual orchestra but a keyboard, I was more than just happy to hear it, because it was magnificent!
Journeyman's electric version is also nice but I think it's much better with the acoustic guitar rather than the electric because the feeling it gives you when heard from the Dance of Death album is simply the feeling a journeyman would feel...
Less but not least, a tip for all those who accidentally didn't notice it, after Journeyman, if you leave the CD to continue on playing (and NO, don't shut your player down!) you'll hear Nicko McBrain singing while listening to Age of Innocence! Hahaha, McBrain rules the damn Universe (as usual)! I laughed my ass off. Dave Murray (I think it's Dave) also pops in for a couple of seconds. Damn this was so funny (McBrain talks and sings throughout the whole song).
If you're one among the lucky Maiden fans who bought the souvenir E.P. then congrats, you can't imagine how limited this thing is (only 800 copies were sent to Greece for example). If you don't have it, try to find it in some God forgotten record store, in some wicked little city, somewhere.
Time is up it couldn't last. But there's more things I have to do
I'm coming back to try again. Don't tell me that this is the end
