Herald Moth

Boring, boring, boring! This is the only thing that comes to mind listening to the fourth album of INME. And since I don't want to be boring to you as Herald Moth was for me, I'll get to the point right away. This band exists for 13 years and this is their fourth album. They had one lineup change as Greg McPherson joined the band, and Ben is a new addition in 2008.
But history doesn't make music. The opposite thing happened in the past, is happening right now without knowing it and will do in the future, but INME won't be a part of it. Herald Moth is full of boring keyboard melodies, spacey guitars and an emo atmosphere in the majority of the tracks. Just listen to the opening track to have an idea. Some small parts of a good riff, a fringe of growl vocals, one good solo - at the end of Happy To Disappoint You - or a clever idea won't save the day.
I can't believe I had to spend my precious time writing this review. Emo music for hard-heartbreaking 13 year old kids and an album for ex-Metal magazines to praise. Stay away!
