Hailing from my home country Israel, don't worry they will not get any preference from me, the review will be without prejudice, I hope.

So INFULATOR has been doing what lots of bands are doing now, they do their kind of Metal trying not to go into categories. However it does seems that INFULATOR is doing a mix of Nu Metal with some Metalcore elements, either way they are trying to create something out from scratch without defining what they can play or what they will play.

The INFULATOR new album "God Machine" starts with "We Are No One", railed with brutal guitar attack and power vocals from Ori Blass Levine, no doubt it's a combination of many genres, selecting this song to open the album is an important for INFULATOR because of the hymn buildup created quite an expectation for the rest. "7 000 000 000" shows the real versatility of INFULATOR with acoustic singings part and a Nu Metal continuance, overall nice, very similar to "Execute!!!" that intros with an acoustic section and very nice vocals, swinging to a Metalcore attack of riffing and drums. "God Machine" is probably the best song on the album with great tempo and vocals; in addition, the structure is rather basic, almost Popish. Honorable mention goes to "House Arrest" a real Mathcore track that shows yet again that these guys are everywhere within the Modern Metal fallout, also don't miss "Demons", which has a video clip, it reveals a new sound from the band, sharing a bit of Keyboards that created a sort of ambience.

Production wise, this is far from being a home run, possibly budget consideration or just a moderate studio work and perception of sound, yet I am sure that if a big label would be involved, things will change for INFULATOR.

I think that this album can appeal to many non-conventional Metal fans, for me it was ok but I think that they can do better
