The Chainsaw's Law

I have been sick and tired of PANTERA, MACHINE HEAD and FEAR FACTORY rip offs! I can't understand the reason why some bands don't even bother spending some time to develop an original sound. Of course your influences will show in the music that you play, but at least try to make them sound as influences, not as copy/paste parts!
The Spanish metallers INFERNOISE released their debut album The Chainsaw's Law on their own, but recently they signed a 3 album contract with Locomotive Records, something that led them and their label to the decision that the album should be officially released. So, here we have the debut INFERNOISE album.
This band probably thought that it should be better to spend more time on thinking what names would be put on the album, rather than spending time on their music. I mean, the produced by Timo Tolkki & INFERNOISE quote on the album is definitely a good marketing move, right? Hell yeah, if your music is good enough to match the name of the producer! INFERNOISE's music is nothing more than a rip off from the aforementioned bands. The closest band I can think of right now is THE SHOWDOWN. At least THE SHOWDOWN is a bunch of talented young guys with great riffing and clever ideas, not some guys with riffs that have been played a million times before. They don't even have a sound that can match the 'modern' aesthetic of their music. What if it was produced by Timo Tolkki and mastered at Finnvox Studios? The sound is totally 'rotten'!
Catchy, groovy and modern! We have heard these things before. Why don't you try a bit harder? We already have thousands of wannabes. What we need is originality...
