With such a logo, title and album cover it didn't take much time to realize that this is a brutal Death Metal band. The fact is that I recently had a chat with a friend about this specific idiom and we ended up agreeing that it unfortunately is the least recognized Metal genre, which offers high quality works nowadays though. INBREEDING REDNECKS are here to confirm that brutal Death was, is and will be a scene full of hidden little diamonds.

The Danish quintet actually released this EP back in 2009 without the support of any label, but decided it would be better if the English label Casket Music re-released it this year (not that I agree with such a move but I am here to review the band, not manage it). INBREEDING REDNECKS' music is a mix between brutal Death and Grindcore with many groovy parts that don't let this EP end up sounding monotonous. "Corpse Molester" is full of nice riffs, face melting bass lines, furious drumming and a monstrous vocalist. The tempo varies from "corpse molesting" blasts, to more mid tempo Death Metal patterns with a European feel.

Ok, this may not be the band of the year and "Corpse Molester" is not the best Death/Grind release ever, but the Danish butchers have surely started building something promising here and I will be eagerly waiting for a full-length album, since 19 minutes weren't enough to feed my brutal needs.
