IN SANITY is a Metal band from Germany formed in 2011 and have now released their first album entitled "Gates Of Insanity". Actually they classify their style of music as Modern Metal, I hate how people love to classify Metal, I must say though that I have not come across with many bands calling themselves Modern Metal, I just don't get it, I must say  that I much prefer the old Metal with sharp riffs, fast tempo, mad vocals and cool lyrics, but anyways, IN INSANITY have given us an Modern Metal album with twelve songs and a intro, really I don't see anything modern in this album, have heard the same stuff with tones of mainstream bands which I don't think too much either.

First track "Open The Gates" a rather boring intro then "Gates Of Insanity" takes over, as I said before very mainstream sound with the vocals over doing it, guitars I find to be very repetitive, being influenced by IN FLAMES, MACHINE HEAD, SOILWORK I am not surprised why I don't really dig this CD.

Track after Track it is all the same to me, I find it to be very commercial, surely people out there will say otherwise which is totally fine, if that is Modern Metal then it is not for me, when I think about German Metal bands I think about SODOM and so on.

The production is good and the front cover is quite smart.
