What? Metalcore? You have to be kidding! Ok, it is maybe god's will. I am cursed to review Metalcore albums for eternity...
I Suffer Inc. were formed in 2004 by former members of Windseeker. The same year, they released their debut album, Bury Me In Silence. In 2005, they reached their current line up form with Luca being recruited and former drummer Claudio being replaced by Mick. After signing a contract with Burning Star, they prepared their brand new CD Chronicles Of Lost Purity and it is now ready to be released...
I will start with some plain words that describe this band's music. So, here I go. Metalcore, emo, melodic. These are words that do not even exist in my dictionary. I think that this kind of music is mostly for kids that don't know what to listen to (my humble opinion of course). They like the brutality of Metal, but they also like the emotional and catchy style of Rock/Pop. The production isn't the best possible and sometimes becomes annoying. Anyway, I Suffer Inc. are definitely NOT a shitty band, but I am not the one to judge them. This kind of music is not my cup of tea. I admit I can't stand those emo singers that scream and cry behind the microphone all the time! Anyway, that's not the point. Nice melodies and aggressive breaks throughout the album that won't make you get bored easily. The drummer that relentlessly smashes the drums adds some extra brutality to the tracks!
Anyway, if you are a fan of this style of music, add 2 or 3 points to the rating. I just can't. The emo guys will surely like this CD. That's all I had to say. Judge for yourselves...
